In 2006, Dr. Diana Scroggins had the inspiration to form a vocal group dedicated to improving music appreciation and that of women's voices in particular.
This accomplished musician saw the opportunity to share the gift of song with the public through a series of free concerts and performances.

The group quickly became organized as a nonprofit group with the following objectives:

Promoting appreciation of both sacred and popular choral music.

Developing vocal training of its membership.

Providing information and educational opportunities for the local communities to improve their enjoyment and understanding of choral music.

Encouraging the establishment and support of student scholarships.
